    No problem! You don't need any art experience to have a blast painting or creating or creating a wood sign! In fact that's what this is all about! You will be guided step by step in one of our classes and you'll be amazed with the finished piece of art that YOU create to take home! And, most importantly, not only will you have a great time, we hope you'll be inspired to continue exploring your creativity!
    Absolutely! What better way to build camaraderie among co-workers, get to know some special clients, or have a team building event! You may even wish to bring in a professional team building facilitator and use the medium of art. We'd be happy to work with your group in any way that you'd like!
    No, you may paint what you wish or feel free to just change our painting as you wish. Maybe change the color palette if you want to personalize it a bit more! The group will be guided through the featured painting, but this is all about YOU having FUN and loving what you create!
    Although we are using water based acrylics, unfortunately it does not easily come out of clothing once it dries! I will provide an apron for you, but wear something you wouldn't mind getting paint on in the unlikely event that should happen! I recommend sleeves above the elbows as the wrist and forearm are the most likely to hit wet paint!
    Yes, kids 8+ are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a participating adult.
    It will feel dry to the touch after about 1/2 hour, but will continue to dry thoroughly for the next several days. After it's dry to the touch, you can carefully handle it by its edges and transport it face up in your car. Plan to have some newspaper to lay it on in the trunk or backseat for the drive home– just in case!

    Understanding that "life happens", if we are given email notice within 48+ hours we can offer a refund or a credit toward another class. If given 24+ hours written notice we are happy to extend a credit toward a future class. Unfortunately, if you cannot provide at least 24 hours notice, you may certainly give your ticket to a friend to enjoy in your place or, up to 1 hour prior to the class time, you may request a credit for half of the ticket cost that may be applied to a future class.
    Our Wood Sign and Home Decor Collection is fun and easy to create a personalized masterpiece you'll love with the help of a pre-designed vinyl stencil. Many of the designs include personalization for your family name, a special date, or teacher's name. Great for your home or a beautiful gift! Because these wood items need to be assembled and your vinyl stencil cut prior to your arrival, we ask that pre-orders are made a minimum of 72 hours in advance so that we have everything ready for you. A fantastic bonus is that you do not have to plan around a class schedule, and instead YOU may choose what day and time your group would like to create as part of our Open Studio for the Wood Collection. You'll indicate your arrival time on your registration.

    To order your Wood Sign navigate to the wood sign page of our website, scroll down to see all of the sign types and designs to choose from, select your design, choose the date you'd like to join us to create! From there follow the registration form and you will be prompted to provide any personlized information or accessory option choices. Just be sure to note the "sign type" (i.e 14x20 Tray) and design name (i.e. Holiday-Gathering) before choosing your date so that you can confirm this on the registration page.

    You're all set to enjoy creating your fabulous wood piece when you arrive! If you have a group of 4+, please provide as much time as possible for your pre-order prior to your chosen date--thanks!
    We love providing a fun event that also allows funds to be raised for any organization or individual! Our event pricing is based on a flat fee to provide the event and then a small per person charge to cover materials. The more people you have, the less you pay per person as the flat fee gets divided. For a fundraiser we encourage the organizer to charge a flat ticket cost that will ensure a profit and then market the event to get a lot of people to join in! We can work with a group up to 70 people and can even provide 2 sessions in the same day at a discounted rate for the second session if you have a much larger group size or need to accomodate a smaller space or offer two different time slots. We'd love to help make your fundraiser a huge success!
